About the volunteering opportunity
The handicraft group at the Friedrichshain senior citizens' center offers its senior citizens the opportunity to knit, crochet and embroider once a week at a cozy get-together.
Your Tasks
If you would like to get involved in a handicraft group, your tasks will include
- take part in this handicraft group once a week (Tuesdays 10:11 am) and also lead it, i.e. be the contact person
- to ensure a friendly, good atmosphere
- Listening to the needs and questions of the seniors and passing them on to the staff coordinator if necessary
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
For your commitment you need:
- good German language skills
- good handicraft skills such as knitting, crocheting and embroidery
- Enjoyment, fun and interest in being together with older people
Time required
Regularly
Approx. 2 hours per week.
On weekdays
Tuesdays 10: 11 a.m
