About the volunteering opportunity
Would you like to get involved while you’re in school and play an active role in promoting educational equity? As part of our scholarship team at the federal level, you’ll help further develop our scholarship program and support talented high school and college students.
Your Tasks
- Helping to shape and further develop our scholarship program
- Supporting and coordinating scholarship recipients and the application process
- Communicating with partners, sponsors, and locations
- Organizing and evaluating selection processes and program content
- Developing new ideas to support dedicated high school and college students
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
- Interest in educational equity
- Empathetic and organized with strong organizational skills
- Creative thinker with ideas for support programs
- Open to students from all disciplines
Time required
Regularly
Approx. 3 hours per week.
Flexible and remote, as arranged with the team—on average, about 2–3 hours per week. The application periods in January/February and July/August are particularly busy.
Important notice
Team communication takes place remotely via Google Meet, phone, and email with colleagues from all over Germany. You should plan for a little more time during the application periods (January/February, July/August), but significantly less time outside of those periods.
