About the volunteering opportunity
Many teenagers and young adults with a refugee or migrant background have been unable to attend school for years or have never been able to do so. They have now been attending a secondary school/vocational college for a few years and are trying to obtain the best possible school-leaving qualification. Volunteers provide individual support.
Your Tasks
You will help young adults aged 16-27, make it easier for them to get started and accompany them on this path, e.g. through individual support.
You will also provide support with career guidance and the search for an apprenticeship.
In addition to the actual tasks mentioned, you can accompany the young people to public offices and support them in their search for accommodation and leisure activities, e.g. making contact with clubs.
