About the volunteering opportunity
The Medi-Team offers medical care for homeless people twice a week in the evening at the emergency overnight accommodation at the container station. Common health problems include wounds, parasite infestations and injuries. The emergency shelter is open all year round and can accommodate 70 guests. In addition to safe overnight accommodation, food, social counseling and emotional support are available.
At our City-Station in Charlottenburg, we want to start offering medical care for guests once a week in the near future. The City-Station is a day center for homeless people in Charlottenburg. In addition to a good meal, the opportunity to shower and do laundry, it is all about community.
