Volunteers wanted

The "Potsdamer Str." shared accommodation for refugees in the Schöneberg district has been in existence since 2025.
Prisod GmbH currently operates 7 housing projects across Berlin where people have found a temporary home.
Prisod's accommodation is not "just" a home for new Berliners, but also lively places that enable people to meet, have fun, exchange ideas and support each other on many different levels. The residents and staff of the houses cordially invite you to join us, to spend a part of our lives together and to enrich each other.
Voluntary and community involvement is not only structurally promoted here, but is also lived out with the utmost conviction and joy. Contacts with Berliners and the neighborhood enable refugees to have valuable encounters that not only promote their arrival in the majority society, but in many cases also write large and small success stories through inclusion.

The most important prerequisites for volunteering with us are open-mindedness and the willingness to keep a small amount of your own free time free for this. How much time you can and want to give is entirely up to you.

We are happy about people who donate their time. We have a need in many areas: for example, homework help, support in finding accommodation or practising German. But also support in the children's club, e.g. as part of music projects with children. We would be delighted if you would like to contribute your own ideas.
We would like to have contact at eye level with our residents. We want volunteers who are open to encounters. We are open to your passion and interests. If you have a passion for reading fairy tales aloud, then you are very welcome to join us! If you are a musician and would like to introduce the children to music, you are also very welcome! The most important thing: your enthusiasm for what you do! Let's get talking!

Our volunteer coordinators will be happy to take the time to answer your questions, explain everything in detail and support you in completing the formalities. This includes applying for a free extended police clearance certificate and accepting the Prisod-wide code of conduct. Another legal requirement is a double measles vaccination.
