IT Developer - Digital Solutions for Integration (Open Source)

Do you want to put your IT skills to good use? As a social enterprise from Augsburg, we develop digital platforms that make it easier for newcomers to access education, work and social participation. We are looking for dedicated developers to work with us - or independently - on open source projects in the field of integration.

You can get involved in existing projects or use the free space and our infrastructure to implement your own ideas - always open source, always with the aim of building digital bridges for people with refugee and migrant backgrounds. In concrete terms, this can mean developing features, building prototypes, doing code reviews, co-designing architectures or driving new project ideas from conception to implementation. You work independently and regularly exchange ideas with other volunteers.

Experience in software development - whether frontend, backend, mobile, data or DevOps, we are open to different profiles. More important to us than a specific tech stack are a high level of initiative, willingness to learn and, above all, a sincere motivation to work for integration and participation. Experience with open source projects is a plus, but not a must.

Flexible - you decide for yourself how much time you can contribute. There are regular exchange meetings, otherwise you work at your own pace. A certain continuity is ideal so that projects can progress, but we don't have fixed weekly hours.
