About the volunteering opportunity
In our mentoring project, we bring people into 1:1 contact with each other. We are looking for people who would like to accompany people with refugee or migration experience and make it easier for them to settle into a new environment. It is primarily about improving German language skills as well as personal contact and joint activities.
We offer you
We offer you
- full-time contact persons
- Information on professional training/workshops
- joint activities and events in the group
- Proof of commitment
- reimbursement of (BVG) travel expenses if required
Your Tasks
Our mentees (people who would like to be supported by volunteer mentors) are young adults, adults and children in different life situations. The specific topics of mentoring can therefore vary. Improving German language skills always plays a central role.
Some mentees have specific goals, such as an upcoming exam. Or they want to write job applications. Others simply want social contact so that they can talk in German in a relaxed atmosphere.
