Accompanying young men to recreational sports activities in Wilmersdorf

We are looking for committed volunteers for young men from a LAF emergency shelter (near Fehrbelliner Platz) who would like to attend free sports activities together in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf. Whether it's soccer, fitness, basketball or other exercise activities - the focus is on shared activity, exchange and support in everyday life. No previous sporting experience is required.

We welcome people who are open, reliable and sociable and would like to help young refugees settle in Berlin.

the main task is to accompany the young men, motivate them to participate and support them in regularly taking part in sports activities. The joint activity also leads to conversations, language practice and new contacts. In this way, participation, self-confidence and orientation in everyday life can be strengthened.

we are looking for open and reliable people who enjoy exercise, encounters and intercultural exchange. No previous sporting experience is required.

 Prerequisites for volunteering are a complete measles vaccination and the submission of an extended certificate of good conduct (free of charge for volunteers)
