About the volunteering opportunity

Ashavadi Project e.V. - Together for a better future for Nepal

As an association founded by women, we have been working for four years to empower people in Nepal and open up new prospects for them. Our current focus is on supporting women through training programs and raising awareness in the field of mental health together with our project partner HAMI - an association of psychology students and graduates from Kathmandu, Nepal.

With our project partner HAMI, we are focusing on concrete support:

The HAMI project strengthens the mental health of young people and older people in rural regions of Nepal through psychoeducation, education and needs-based counseling. In a community characterized by poverty, migration and a lack of access to mental health care, the project raises awareness, reduces stigmatization and teaches strategies for resilience and emotional stability. Together with local professionals, this creates long-term support directly in the community.

Your Tasks
