About the volunteering opportunity
NACOA Germany is committed to helping children who grow up in families affected by addiction. The aim of the organization is to give these often overlooked children a voice, to empower them and to improve their lives in the long term. Through education, prevention and specific support services, NACOA Germany raises public and professional awareness of the particular challenges faced by affected children. This includes information campaigns, specialist events and projects to strengthen resilience and protective factors in children's everyday lives. Together with committed individuals from various fields, the organization works to ensure that no child remains alone with the consequences of addiction in the family.
Your Tasks
We want you!
We are looking for people who are willing to take on responsibility on the board and actively help shape the work of NACOA Germany. In particular, we are looking for support in the following areas:
1. Prevention program "Fluffi-Klub" (with a focus on Berlin)
For our resilience program, which makes children strong against addiction for preschool children, we are looking for a person, ideally from Berlin or the surrounding area, who will support the further development and networking of the program and help to ensure that even more children receive support at an early age.
2. Network & regional spokespersons nationwide
We are looking for a person who enjoys networking to strengthen our nationwide network, support the exchange with regional spokespersons and organize and design online and face-to-face meetings.
3. Volunteer management
Many of our projects depend on the commitment of volunteers. In this area, we are looking for a person who can support and develop the coordination of self-help groups, regional spokespersons and other volunteers.
4. Financial management
The coordination of our finances is at the ❤️ heart of the association. We are looking for a person who enjoys numbers and would like to support us with funding applications, proof of use and financial processes.
