About the volunteering opportunity
In the NDC (Network for Democracy and Courage), many young people have come together to do something about inhuman thinking and discriminatory behavior.
We have launched the project days "Showing courage for democracy" and take them to schools, training companies and youth groups. With our project days, we want to make it clear that racism is not an opinion, but misanthropy.
All of our project days are carried out by two trained teamers, who currently receive an expense allowance of 130 euros. Further information here: www.netzwerk-courage.de
Your Tasks
You can carry out project days (usually 6 school hours) at various schools throughout Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. There are always two of you in the school classes.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
Participation in a one-week training course organized by the Network for Democracy and Courage (NDC).

The project days usually last 6 school hours. Depending on the location and journey, you can plan around 8-9 hours for a project day.

The Network for Democracy and Courage (NDC) offers political education for children, young people and adults. Our focus is on anti-discrimination work, awareness-raising, prevention and argumentation - all under the heading of democracy promotion.
