About the volunteering opportunity
- Have you gained experience abroad as part of your studies or internship and would like to keep it alive?
- Then get students from a school of your choice excited about a possible future stay abroad with a NA DAAD Back to School project!
- You are an ambassador for your host country and can break down prejudices and inhibitions among the younger generation!
Your Tasks
- You make contact with a teacher at the school of your choice and agree on the date and topic of your project.
- You design a small interactive project of at least 90 minutes (2 school hours of 45 minutes each) with pupils at a school of your choice, e.g. your former school
- You write a short project report and receive a small expense allowance (€45), reimbursement of travel expenses if applicable and a certificate for your volunteer work from the DAAD
- The Back to School team at the NA DAAD will support you with all questions regarding preparation, implementation and follow-up
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
At the time the project is carried out, the volunteers should still be enrolled at a German university and have grown up in Germany and gone to school in Germany for at least a few years.
