Join our team of volunteers for awareness-raising efforts in Spandau! Workshop on December 8

Awareness—what exactly is it, and how does it work in practice?

We’ll explore these questions together in this workshop. To do so, we’ll first learn about the basic concepts and principles of awareness work, and then we’ll engage in exercises to gain hands-on experience with awareness practices. The goal is to better understand what awareness entails and what tasks people who want to do awareness work can expect.

We’d like to build a team that’s eager to join us in strengthening Spandau’s events
as spaces for democracy, an open society, and human diversity—places where everyone
can feel at home.
To this end, we are collaborating this year with the Awareness Institute, which
trains interested volunteers and supports them during their first assignments.

The workshop is aimed at interested people from Spandau who can imagine being part of a volunteer team for awareness work in Spandau in the future, learning together and accompanying events. No prior knowledge is required.
