About the volunteering opportunity
ZULA Family Literature Festival on Sunday, July 5, in Berlin—a fun-filled day of stories, creativity, a wide variety of children’s books, workshops, and live performances for the whole family.
Your Tasks
1. Festival Guide – Helps visitors find their way around the festival grounds.
2. Workshop Time Management – Helps workshop leaders stay on schedule.
3. Workshop Attendance Management – Welcomes participants, assists with registration, and keeps track of the number of attendees in each workshop.
4. Event Logistics (setup, room preparation, materials, etc.)
5. Organizing creative activities with children

ZULA Tribe is a nonprofit organization dedicated to diverse children’s literature, promoting reading, and fostering cultural participation. We develop new children’s books through mentoring programs, strengthen reading skills through read-aloud sessions and mini-libraries, and empower children and families to actively shape literary and cultural initiatives. Our goal is for every child to have access to stories, to see themselves reflected in them, and to develop their own voice.
