About the volunteering opportunity
Cafeteria Volunteers Wanted: Help residents have a good time, listen to them, and bring the home to life.
At the Wilhelm-Löhe-Haus, the cafeteria is more than just a place for coffee and cake—it’s a lively gathering spot where residents can enjoy their daily lives, strike up conversations, and feel seen. To make this happen, we’re looking for warm-hearted people who are willing to pitch in and simply be there.

As a volunteer, you’ll support the cafeteria team and work together to ensure that residents have a wonderful time. You’ll help with serving, be the go-to person for small requests, and bring genuine joy through friendly conversation. This volunteer work thrives on collaboration—you’ll be part of a dedicated team, and together you’ll help create a space that opens up the senior center to the outside world and brings it to life.
