"Essen" Food Festival

At the Osterbrooklyn Festival, there’s a lot going on at once. While music is playing on stage, we serve food to our guests.

French fries, sautéed mushrooms, crêpes, and bratwurst are among the items prepared and served by our team.

For this role, we’re looking for people who are eager to help out with festival food service. You’ll work alongside other volunteers at the food stands, prepare meals, serve orders, and help ensure that everything stays clean and organized.

The nonprofit BOOT e.V. is a neighborhood initiative in Hamburg’s Hamm-Süd district. We run an open community space by the water that features cultural events, a café, canoe rentals, and volunteer projects. The Osterbrooklyn Festival and the “BOOTsWagen & Osterbrooklyn” concert series are organized primarily by volunteers. Proceeds from food and drinks help finance the events.

Please arrive at the meeting point on time, if possible.

Before we begin, there will be a brief orientation on the procedures and hygiene guidelines.

Things can get hectic during peak hours. It’s important to stay calm and support one another.

Cleanliness and food safety are especially important for this task.
