Festival: Food and Beverages

At the Osterbrooklyn Festival, we serve our guests cold and hot beverages. Since we sell only bottled drinks, the main tasks involve taking orders, serving drinks, and keeping the stand organized.

For this role, we’re looking for people who are eager to help out behind the beverage stand. You’ll work alongside other volunteers, restock supplies, and often be one of the first points of contact for our guests.

The nonprofit BOOT e.V. is a neighborhood initiative in Hamburg’s Hamm-Süd district. We run an open community space by the water that features cultural events, a café, canoe rentals, and volunteer projects. The Osterbrooklyn Festival is organized primarily by volunteers and is funded, among other things, by the sale of food and drinks.

· Collect and sort empty bottles and cans

· Keep the work area clean and tidy

· Willingness to pitch in, even during peak hours

· Experience is not required

· Weather-appropriate clothing

· Closed-toe shoes

· Comfortable clothing

· Drinks and, if necessary, a small snack

· A positive attitude

Please arrive at the meeting point on time, if possible.

Before we start, there will be a brief orientation on the procedures at the beverage stand.

Crates of beverages can be heavy. That’s why many tasks are handled as a team.
