Festival Children's Program

The Osterbrooklyn Festival will also have activities for children. In the kids’ area, they can paint, do crafts, play, and try new things. Here, children can get creative while their families enjoy the festival music.

For this role, we’re looking for people who enjoy working with children and would like to help lead small arts-and-crafts or painting activities. This isn’t about professional childcare, but rather about being a friendly point of contact and assisting with the activities.

The nonprofit BOOT e.V. is a neighborhood initiative in Hamburg’s Hamm-Süd district. We run an open community space by the water that features cultural events, a café, canoe rentals, and volunteer projects. An important part of our work is creating opportunities for people of all ages and fostering connections within the neighborhood.

The children’s area is not a substitute for childcare. Parents remain responsible for supervising their children.

It’s important to be attentive, friendly, and willing to listen to the young festival guests.

Many activities are kept simple and can be organized together with the children.
