Festival Cleanliness Restrooms

At a festival, the restrooms are used by many people. To ensure they remain clean and usable throughout the day, we need volunteers to check on them regularly.

For this role, we’re looking for people to help keep the restrooms clean. This includes making rounds, restocking supplies, and performing light cleaning tasks. With your help, you’ll ensure that guests, artists, and volunteers feel comfortable at the festival.

The nonprofit BOOT e.V. is a neighborhood initiative in Hamburg’s Hamm-Süd district. We run an open community space by the water that features cultural events, a café, canoe rentals, and volunteer projects. The Osterbrooklyn Festival is supported by many volunteers and thrives on the fact that even the less visible tasks are taken care of.

· Check the toilets regularly

· Restock toilet paper

· Restock soap and paper towels

· Keep wash areas clean

· Clean up minor messes

· Report any issues to festival management

· Ensure the overall area looks neat and tidy

· Reliability

· Attention to detail

· Weather-appropriate clothing

· Closed-toe shoes

· Work gloves (recommended)

· Drinks and, if necessary, a small snack

· A positive attitude and a practical mindset
