About the volunteering opportunity
Once the last guests have gone home, the final important part of the festival begins. To ensure the site is ready for use again the next day, we need to work together to take down and pack away the tents, equipment, decorations, and other materials.
For this task, we’re looking for people to lend a hand with the cleanup. Many hands ensure that the grounds are quickly tidied up and that materials can be safely stored.
The nonprofit BOOT e.V. is a neighborhood initiative in Hamburg’s Hamm-Süd district. We run an open community space by the water that features cultural events, a café, canoe rentals, and volunteer projects. The Osterbrooklyn Festival is organized entirely by volunteers and thrives on people taking responsibility together.
