Festival Storage / Cleaning / Sorting

The work isn’t quite over after the festival. To ensure that materials, equipment, and decorations can be reused next year, many items need to be cleaned, sorted, and stored properly.

For this task, we’re looking for people who are eager to work together to get things organized. Boxes will be labeled, materials sorted, beer tent sets cleaned, and equipment taken to its storage location. Many small tasks ensure that everything can be found quickly again at the next festival.

The nonprofit BOOT e.V. is a neighborhood initiative in Hamburg’s Hamm-Süd district. The Osterbrooklyn Festival is organized entirely by volunteers and relies on people helping out not only during the festival itself, but also with the work leading up to and following it.

· Sort and organize materials

· Label and store boxes

· Clean beer tent furniture

· Clean decorations and equipment

· Check tools and materials

· Tidy up storage areas

· Work together to tidy up after the festival

· Reliability and team spirit

· Attention to detail

· Enjoyment of hands-on work

· Normal physical fitness

· Experience is not required

· Weather-resistant clothing

· Sturdy shoes

· Work gloves (recommended)

· Clothing that can get dirty

· Drinks and, if necessary, a small snack

Please arrive at the meeting point on time, if possible.

The projects will be completed as a team and explained on site.

Many materials will be reused. Therefore, please handle the tools, equipment, and decorations with care.
