About the volunteering opportunity
Our two assisted-living communities for people with dementia have been open since June—and we’re looking for people who would like to become part of this new community. As a volunteer support person, you’ll accompany our residents, give them your attention, engage in conversation, share special moments, and advocate for their wishes and interests.
Your Tasks
You don’t need any nursing experience for this volunteer position—we’re the ones who provide the care. What we need is an open mind, reliability, and a genuine joy in treating people with dementia with respect.
You simply bring a little bit of the “outside world” inside—in a way that’s true to who you are and at your own pace.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
