About the volunteering opportunity
Support the Telephone Counseling Service in making a difference
TelefonSeelsorge is available around the clock for people who are going through a crisis or simply need someone to listen to them. This important work is carried out by many dedicated volunteers—and it needs financial support.
That’s why we’re looking for a dedicated person to help us with fundraising.
Your Role
Together, we want to find new ways to inspire people and businesses to support the work of TelefonSeelsorge and to win them over as supporters.
You’ll have the opportunity to contribute your own ideas and help shape how we present our work to the public and solicit financial support.
Possible tasks include, for example:

- Developing ideas on how to raise awareness of the work of the Telephone Counseling Service and make it appealing to supporters
- Assist in organizing charity events and activities
- Further develop existing fundraising activities

- A passion for inspiring people to support a good cause
- A love of communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Creativity and your own ideas
- Reliability and the ability to work independently
- Ideally, an interest in fundraising, public relations, or networking
- Experience in fundraising, marketing, sales, public relations, or building partnerships is, of course, especially welcome.

Your commitment can help ensure that TelefonSeelsorge continues to be there for people who urgently need someone to listen to them.

Because everyone experiences times in their lives that bring them to the edge of their strength. At these times, you need someone to support you. We offer a sympathetic ear. Around the clock. For every concern. Naturally, anonymously and with a duty of confidentiality. We are there in the dark moments. Unfortunately, we can't make problems go away, but we can try to help those in despair.
We can offer perspectives and change points of view. Or simply be there. We don't treat anyone. At the same time, everyone will find an open and sympathetic ear.
Volunteering at the telephone helpline is a meaningful and very fulfilling task.
