Big Rhine Cleanup Day

We’re planning an event for the big CleanUp Day on September 12, and we’ll be cleaning up the area south of the Rheinaue Riehl. We’ll meet at 12:00 p.m. at the Riehler Aue playground (near the Slabystraße stop on Line 18) and clear the riverbanks of trash and cigarette butts.
Serve the City will provide all the necessary supplies, such as trash bags, gloves, and litter grabbers.
Feel free to bring sunscreen or rain jackets (depending on the weather), as well as plenty to drink.

We collect trash that has been left behind on the shore

You need to be in reasonably good physical condition; we walk along the shore collecting trash, and you have to carry a few kilograms of trash with you.

We'll provide all the materials, gloves, trash bags, and grabbers. Volunteers should bring appropriate clothing, water to drink, and snacks if needed. Please also dress for the weather and bring sunscreen.
