About the volunteering opportunity

The Family Center at the Bucher Community Center regularly informs families and residents via a newsletter about the center’s programs, events, counseling services, and news.

To ensure that the information is presented to readers in an even clearer, more modern, and more appealing way in the future, we would like to redesign our newsletter.

The newsletter is created using the CleverReach newsletter tool. We are looking for a volunteer with a good eye for layout, design, and visual communication to help us develop a new newsletter layout.

Your Tasks

Work with us to develop a modern, friendly, and family-friendly newsletter design using CleverReach.

Possible options include:

  • Development of a clear, basic layout in CleverReach
  • Design of recurring elements and sections
  • Recommendations on colors, fonts, imagery, and layout
  • Development of a template that we can then use ourselves for future newsletters
  • if necessary, advice on user-friendly display on smartphones and computers
  • Support with the practical implementation of the layout in CleverReach
You don’t need to create a finished newsletter. What’s most important to us is that we end up with a practical design template that our team can use to create future newsletters on their own.

What's needed

For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
You'll be a great fit for us if you:

  • Have experience with graphic design, layout, or communication design,
  • enjoy presenting information in a clear and appealing way,
  • have perhaps already designed newsletters, flyers, social media graphics, or similar media,
  • ideally have experience with CleverReach or similar newsletter programs,
  • and would like to use your skills for a nonprofit project.
Professional experience is helpful but not required—motivation and a good eye for design are just as important to us.
