About the volunteering opportunity

At our BeerenStark daycare center, we focus on fostering children’s development in a sustainable way. Reading aloud together plays an important role in this. Starting in October, we’re looking for a new person who loves to read and who will read with our children once a week.

You’ll enjoy:

  • Seeing the excitement in children’s eyes
  • Long reading sessions
  • Interacting with children from non-German backgrounds and helping them develop their language skills along the way.
You’ll be supported by our social education specialist at all times.

Your Tasks

  • read aloud
  • Be attentive to the children and their needs
  • Bring fun and joy
