About the volunteering opportunity
We’re looking for dedicated volunteers (ages 14 to 35) to answer seniors’ questions about their smartphones.
- Are you open-minded and helpful?
- Do you enjoy meeting other young people?
- Do you enjoy explaining things to others?
- Do you enjoy spending time with older adults?
- Do you know a little bit about different apps and smartphone features?
Then you’ve come to the right place!
Your Tasks
Together with other volunteers, you will support senior citizens in the use of smartphones/tablets and answer their questions.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
You should
- have a basic understanding of apps and smartphone applications.
- be open and communicative.
- enjoy explaining things and working with seniors.
- Your German language skills should be at the B1 level.

Are you between 14 and 35 years old? At the smartphone workshop hosted by youngcaritas Munich, you can show older adults how to use smartphones, tablets, and other devices. Don’t worry about questions or problems—together, we’ll explain WhatsApp, Wi-Fi, and more. Join us and become a tech hero for all generations!

Once a month, we host the smartphone clinic at the Trudering Senior and Service Center.

At youngcaritas Munich, you can work together with other young volunteers on social projects in Munich. It doesn't matter whether you get involved regularly or occasionally!
