About the volunteering opportunity
Four residents in our nursing home have no relatives in the city and would appreciate regular visits. We are looking for four volunteers to provide one-on-one companionship during walks, conversations, or game afternoons.
The “Alt-Treptow” nursing home is located in a quiet setting in a well-connected residential area. Just a few minutes’ walk from the “Treptower Park” S-Bahn station, it is easily accessible by public transportation. The facility itself is surrounded by a large, well-maintained green space.

Your Tasks
You visit the residents once a week for
- go for walks in the garden or the surrounding area
- to chat with the residents
- Games or other recreational activities
Your role is to motivate and support the residents. Staff from the nursing home are always present, so you’re never alone.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
