About the volunteering opportunity
About the Project:
We are a registered nonprofit organization (M.K. Humanus International Organization e.V.) and are looking for dedicated volunteers from all over Germany who would like to support us entirely online (100% remote / work from home). Our goal is to help children in need, promote educational opportunities for elementary school students, and increase our visibility in the digital space.
Your Responsibilities (All tasks are performed entirely online):
Online Fundraising & Donation Campaigns:
Assistance with planning, designing, and executing digital donation campaigns and fundraising initiatives via the Internet.
Video Production & Social Media Content:
Creating and editing short, engaging videos, as well as producing visual content for our online presence and social media.
Online Learning Support / Tutoring:
Digital support (via video call) for elementary school students in the Holzminden district with their homework and studies.
What you should bring to the table:
A passion for working with children, education, and humanitarian issues.
Some experience with or interest in social media, video editing, content creation, or online fundraising.
Empathy, patience, and reliability when providing digital support to elementary school students.
Good German language skills.
A computer or laptop with a stable internet connection.
What we offer you:
An official and recognized volunteer certificate: You’ll receive an officially issued and recognized certificate (volunteer service certificate) from our registered association (e.V.), complete with the stamp and signature of the president—ideal for your resume, job applications, or college admissions.
100% location-independent: All tasks are completed entirely online from home.
Maximum flexibility: Set your own schedule (approx. 2–4 hours per week, as agreed).
Creative freedom: The opportunity to contribute your own creative ideas and actively help shape a valuable humanitarian project.

What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
A passion for working with children and education-related topics, as well as reliability.
Basic knowledge of or interest in social media, video editing, or online fundraising.
Empathy for elementary school children and a good command of German.
Your own computer or laptop with internet access.
