What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity you don't need any German skills.
Our employees should enjoy interacting with all kinds of people. Openness, a willingness to communicate, and a welcoming attitude are essential qualities.
There’s a place for everyone on the team.
Time required
Once
On weekends, during the day, at night
We work on a day that most people set aside for their families. That is also where the strength of our project lies.
You can choose one of the three “shifts”:
10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Setup and decorating
10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Setup and decorating
3:00 PM – 8:30 PM: Event
8:00 PM – 10:00 PM: Take down
Of course, we also need people on the organizing team who can be present for the entire time.
Important notice
The project is supported by four Christian congregations from four different denominational families. We do not require our staff to have a Christian background, but we do expect them to be open to the Christian message of Christmas, even toward people of other faiths.
Location
