About the volunteering opportunity
In the mood for games, coffee, cake, and friendly conversation? Support our game afternoon and join us!
Our afternoon events in Langenhorn have been popular for many years now. People come together to enjoy coffee and cake, play games, have a nice chat, and make new friends.
We’re currently looking for new volunteers to join our team and actively support our game afternoon.
Your Tasks
- Set the stage for a cozy afternoon: Prepare the room, set the tables, and have coffee and cake ready
- Follow-up: Tidy up and set up the room again after the activity
- Optional:
If you enjoy baking cake and are happy to share it with others, feel free to get creative here as well. Of course, all related costs will be reimbursed.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
What you bring to the table:
- You enjoy working with seniors and are outgoing
- You enjoy working as part of a team and are reliable
- You also enjoy playing games yourself and might even have some great ideas for new ones
Time required
Regularly
Approx. 3 hours per month.
On weekdays, during the day
- First Wednesday of the month, 2:30–5:15 p.m.

By the union of the two neighboring circle federations Hamburg north registered association and Hamburg Wandsbek registered association to our circle federation Hamburg north-east registered association one of the largest circle federations of Hamburg developed. Voluntary help and activities take place regionally in the neighborhood . We complement the voluntary work with varied offers such as first aid courses, local meeting places, our home emergency call and the newly founded second hand store. Our goal is to reach all people, to help people in need in an uncomplicated way and to create interesting offers for all generations. Maybe there is also something for you.
