About the volunteering opportunity
During the winter months, from November through April, the Berlin City Mission operates a total of four emergency shelters.
Many people who would otherwise have to spend the night outside in the cold receive shelter, food, clothing, medical care, counseling, and emotional support here.
The outpatient clinic for homeless people is located directly above the Lehrter Straße emergency shelter and offers nighttime consultations during the cold-weather assistance season.
