Language Café for Women (361305)

Would you like to help women living in a shared housing facility improve their German language skills in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere? Then you’ve come to the right place!

For our regular women’s group at a shared housing facility, we’re looking for a dedicated female volunteer who’d like to host a small language café once or twice a month on Fridays from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

About 15–20 women meet regularly in the women’s group. The language café is primarily about speaking and practicing German together—without any pressure to perform. The focus is on everyday conversations, learning new words, simple language games, and, above all, the joy of interacting with one another.

The meetings are intended to give the women the opportunity to put their German skills into practice, become more confident in speaking, and make new friends at the same time.

Time commitment: Once or twice a month, on Fridays from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The language café is intentionally designed to be accessible and takes place without any pressure to perform or take tests. It is not about traditional German lessons, but rather about speaking together, practicing, and engaging in personal exchanges.

Treating participants with respect, patience, and appreciation is particularly important to us. The women’s varying levels of German proficiency and individual backgrounds should be taken into account.
