Art & Creativity with Children – Painting, Clay, and More. (363042)

At our shared housing facility, we’re looking for creative people who’d like to engage in artistic activities with children. In small creative workshops, the children can learn about and try out various techniques—such as painting, drawing, working with clay and ceramics, or making collages. Volunteers can contribute their own ideas and creative skills to help the children have a fun and enriching experience. The possibilities are endless!

Volunteers plan and facilitate creative activities and small workshops with the children. They can contribute their own ideas and skills and, together with the children, paint, draw, work with clay and ceramics, create collages, or try out other creative techniques. In doing so, they support the children in bringing their ideas to life and foster a positive and supportive atmosphere.

A passion for creative work and working with children. Prior creative experience or special artistic skills are not required—what matters most are an open mind, patience, creativity, and a willingness to contribute your own ideas. Experience working with children is a plus.

The volunteer work takes place during the day. The exact days and times can be arranged flexibly. The number of hours can be agreed upon by mutual arrangement.

It is important to treat the children with appreciation, patience, and respect. The children should be encouraged to freely explore their own ideas and creativity. The specific materials and techniques can be decided upon together.
