About the volunteering opportunity
The Friedrichsfelde Süd Neighborhood Fund supports a wide range of projects that strengthen community life in the neighborhood and improve the living environment. Whether it’s a beekeeping project, a flea market at a daycare center, a graffiti project, or turning a vacant lot into green space—the ideas come from the neighborhood itself.
The citizens’ jury decides which projects will receive funding. We’re looking for new members who want to get actively involved, help evaluate project ideas, and help shape the future of their neighborhood.
As a member of the Citizens’ Jury, you can help turn good ideas into concrete projects and ensure that Friedrichsfelde Süd remains a vibrant and livable neighborhood.
Your Tasks
- Learn about and discuss project ideas submitted from the neighborhood
- Help decide how Neighborhood Fund resources are allocated
- Participate in the regular meetings of the citizens’ jury
- Take into account different ideas and perspectives from the neighborhood
- Actively participate in shaping and further developing Friedrichsfelde Süd
