Help in the Community Garden (364034)

We are looking for dedicated volunteers for our large garden who enjoy gardening and would like to help us regularly with its maintenance and landscaping.

Together, we want to develop our garden into a green, vibrant, and nature-friendly space. We place special emphasis on creating an insect-friendly environment using native and regional plants that provide food and habitat for bees, butterflies, and other insects.

We welcome people who want to contribute their own ideas, get creatively involved, and work with us to promote the diversity of nature. People of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds, as well as all sexual orientations and gender identities, are warmly welcome. Knowledge of German is not required, as we also speak English, Spanish, and French.

The volunteers help us with the regular maintenance and development of our garden. Their tasks include:

We’re looking for people who enjoy gardening and working with plants and who are interested in creating a natural, insect-friendly garden.

Knowledge of plants and gardening experience are welcome. We especially appreciate your own ideas, creativity, and willingness to actively contribute to the design of our garden.

Knowledge of German is not required. We can communicate in English, Spanish, and French, and we welcome people from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

A prerequisite for this position is the submission of an extended criminal background check.

The time commitment is less than five hours per week. Shifts take place during the day. The exact shift times can be arranged flexibly and by mutual agreement. We welcome regular support, but are happy to accommodate the volunteers’ schedules.
