About the volunteering opportunity
A young woman lives in our specialized housing facility in Kreuzberg who, due to her social anxiety, would like someone to accompany her voluntarily to appointments and while running errands.
Being out and about in public is a frightening experience for this young woman. Although she is able to attend her appointments on her own, she seeks support for the (mostly walking) trips to her destinations, as she sometimes experiences panic attacks.
The outings should take place regularly once a week; if there’s nothing specific to do, they can simply go for a walk.
