About the volunteering opportunity
A young woman lives in our special housing facility in Kreuzberg who, due to her social anxiety, would like someone to accompany her voluntarily to appointments and while running errands.
For this young mother, moving about in public spaces is a frightening experience. Although she is able to attend her appointments on her own, she seeks support and accompaniment for the (mostly walking) trips to her destinations—preferably on a regular basis, once a week.
Your Tasks
- Provide support for appointments and errands
- Provide security and structure
- Be attentive to the client’s needs
- Having conversations and maybe just going for a walk every now and then
