About the volunteering opportunity
The lounge in our palliative care unit has a piano that, unfortunately, is used far too rarely. We’d like to change that! Do you enjoy playing the piano and are you looking for a place where people can relax and listen to you? If so, we’d love for you to visit us every now and then and make everyday life at the hospital a little more beautiful and colorful with your music.
Your Tasks
Playing the piano in the lounge for our palliative care patients and their families.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity you don't need any German skills.
You should be able to play the piano well enough that people enjoy listening to you play.

Palliativstation des Franziskus Krankenhauses Berlin
The goal of palliative care is to maintain and, if possible, improve the quality of life for patients with a terminal illness in accordance with their individual wishes and needs. The hospital’s services are primarily intended as crisis intervention: In cases of rapid disease progression and situations of acute deterioration, critically ill patients are admitted to the palliative care unit at Franziskus Hospital.
