Event Support for Tech Startups Founded by Migrants in Munich

November 26, 2026. 4:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.
For our Demo Day in Munich, we’re looking for two dedicated volunteers to help us run the event. On this day, founders with migrant backgrounds will present their startups with short pitches to guests from the startup ecosystem. Together, we want to create an open, professional, and welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels at home. We are a team of four people and would appreciate your support.

If needed, you can obtain a volunteer service certificate from the Stuttgart Media University / The Migrant Accelerator

You’ll support our team by greeting guests and handing out name tags. You’ll also help set up the catering, keep the room tidy during (and at the end of the event) and be available to answer guests’ questions. Depending on the needs, you’ll take on other small organizational tasks. You’ll, of course, receive on-site training and will always be part of our team.

You should be open to meeting new people, willing to pitch in, and able to communicate in English. No special prior knowledge is required—the tasks are straightforward, but your support is very valuable to our team!
If you have any questions, a contact person will be available to assist you at any time. In between tasks, feel free to follow along with the program and gain some exciting insights for yourself. If you’re interested in startups and the startup ecosystem, you can look forward to a varied day filled with many interesting encounters.

The event takes place from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. You'll arrive at 4:00 p.m. for a briefing and help us with cleanup and other tasks until 10:00 p.m. at the latest.

We want to create a safe and supportive space for founders with migrant backgrounds. That is why we ask our volunteers to treat all participants with respect, openness, and sensitivity to issues of discrimination. Political or ideological debates, as well as personal discussions of principles, have no place during the event—the focus is on the founders, their projects, and a supportive community.
