Organizers for our Neighborhood Breakfast

The Arnouxstraße Community Center used to host a regular neighborhood breakfast, which the community really misses. That’s why we’d like to bring it back with your support. We’re looking for dedicated volunteers who have the time and interest to organize the breakfast 1–2 times a month on a Friday morning and spend a pleasant morning with guests from the neighborhood. Most of the participants are seniors.

Organizing breakfast involves planning, shopping, and preparing the food and drinks, as well as hosting.

You should be communicative and open to people with diverse life experiences. Experience working with older adults who require assistance is a plus, as is experience in the restaurant industry.

To carry out this volunteer work, you’ll need an extended police clearance certificate as well as a certificate pursuant to Section 43(1)(1) of the Lower Saxony Child Protection Act (lfSG) (“Red Card”). We’ll provide both of these free of charge along with a certificate from us.

Breakfast is to be served on Friday mornings, ideally 1–2 times a month, depending on availability.

Our organization stands for solidarity, equality, and tolerance. As a volunteer with us, we expect you to live by these values as well.
