About the volunteering opportunity
Would you like to put your hobby to work for a good cause?
The Rehabilitation Clinic for Stuffed Animals is a project of the AWO Kreisverband Berlin-Nordwest e.V. The clinic treats stuffed animals that are broken, have lost their stuffing, and/or are missing limbs, eyes, ears, etc. It is therefore necessary to breathe new life into them with great empathy for the owners who are attached to them. The proceeds from donations for the treatment of the stuffed animals benefit the AWO’s social work.
Your Tasks
The rehabilitation clinic is seeing a steadily growing demand. For this reason, we are looking for another person with sewing experience who, with plenty of patience, calm, and attention to detail, can restore “worn-out and well-loved” stuffed animals and cuddly toys.

For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
