Pro Bono Workshop: Share your knowledge with social organizations

Become a TeachSurfer and share your knowledge worldwide!

At TeachSurfing we match volunteer educators (*TeachSurfers) with non-profit organizations (*Hosts) to provide non-formal and quality educational opportunities. Our platform www.teachsurfing.org connects both sides to promote this unique knowledge transfer. Our vision is to enrich education and overcome cultural barriers by enabling people to share their knowledge with others. This documentary will give you an insight into how TeachSurfing works. As diverse as the hosts are, as diverse are the workshop topics in demand, there is definitely something for everyone.

Your Tasks

After the first contact with a host (NGO, association, school or university) of your choice, you prepare your workshop and conduct it free of charge for the community of the host organization. The variety of topics knows no bounds: from teaching individual soft skills to technical topics (IT, new work, social media, etc.) - the demand of the hosts is great. 

Not only do you pass on valuable knowledge, but you also learn a lot yourself. You improve your workshop skills, move in an intercultural context and can expand your network of inspiring contacts

What's needed

You should be enthusiastic about one or more topics and enjoy sharing your knowledge with other people.

Time required

As a TeachSurfer (Volunteer Educator) you decide how often and when you want to share your knowledge. The contact to a host organization on www.TeachSurfing.org is easily done. The next step is to organize your event with the host and give your workshop.
