About the volunteering opportunity
For our current campaign "Microplastics in fashion" we are looking for a campaigner for the area of politics, lobbying and political education.
Do you have the time and desire to become active in ocean protection and to contribute your talent in this area?

Your Tasks
- Strategic orientation of the current campaign "Microplastics in Fashion" together with the team (stakeholders: politics, economy, citizens)
- Communication within the framework of Ocean's identity. Now! as a "brand"
- Diving into next steps ("how do we approach the goal") with a focus on communication and online campaigning
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
- You already have experience in political campaigning and/or lobbying
- You enjoy strategic thinking
- You are a talented researcher
- You enjoy keeping an eye on the big picture of social actors, weighing up different interests and planning the next steps with reference to current political events.
- You are fluent in English, your mother tongue is German

Ocean. Now! is a non-governmental organization that promotes the protection of the ocean at all levels of society. We work with concept art and create powerful images to address decision makers in business and politics. In parallel, we organize children's ocean workshops to give the next generation a voice.
