About the volunteering opportunity

The Familien-Partnerschaft project is aimed at families who do not have a sufficient family or social network from which they can receive support and relief in everyday life and/or who have difficulty accessing specific services. This applies in particular to families
  • with a single parent
  • with several, especially younger children
  • who are affected by (material) poverty
  • with experience of migration or flight
  • with extraordinary (psychosocial) burdens (separation, illness, disability, etc.)
The specific help is provided exclusively by volunteer family partners. They accompany and support the parents and/or children in their particular situation, in line with the areas agreed in the intake interview and contract. You are a discussion partner for parents and children and provide practical support. Depending on need, you provide information about professional services in the social area.
