About the volunteering opportunity
The support is to be realized on the one hand through the collection of donations and various charity events to finance the rescue missions and on the other hand through events and campaigns that provide information on the subject of sea rescue in the Mediterranean and, if necessary, help to find suitable crew members for the rescue missions.
Your Tasks
There are no limits to your creativity! Whether it's a charity run or bake sale at school, demos, lectures or benefit concerts - everyone can get involved in their own way.

Important notice
It is not direct work with refugees, unless you go on a rescue mission. Otherwise, you support the association so that it can carry out rescue missions.

The Office for Civic Commitment of the AWO Cologne is a consulting service. People who are willing to volunteer will receive advice and will be placed in organisations that work with volunteers. Further priority will be given to LESEMENTOR Cologne, young volunteers, further education and voluntary refugee work.
