Support for Malawi project work

"Young and old for one world" Therefore, young and old people may feel equally addressed here. Whether parallel to an apprenticeship, or between studies and work, or from the experience of a longer working life: You can find a task with us or you can create it yourself.

Our project work for and in Malawi is getting more and more extensive. Therefore we are looking for committed people like you, who want to contribute effectively. Whether you would like to work on a project (construction of kindergarten and school, well digging, school scholarships, medical aid) or you would like to supervise a project yourself in the long run, whether you would like to write applications and account for subsidies in Berlin, raise donations or do project management, construction supervision, travel organisation etc. on site - can be largely determined by yourself. Of course we are a team, things have to be agreed and coordinated, but we can certainly do more effective project work with more manpower.

Cooperation or assumption of project management (planning, calculation, funding applications, communication, implementation/assistance on site, handling)

What's needed

Management and organisational experience, intercultural communication, foreign languages (English), creativity, social skills, teamwork

or craft skills, ability to teach and train

The preceding form question on insurance refers to Berlin. In the case of foreign trips, insurance questions should be clarified according to concrete needs.

Committed people should not exclude working either on a concrete project until its completion or on a longer-term collaboration.

Young and old for one world... for the benefit of the disadvantaged. After ten years of development cooperation in Sierra Leone and four years of refugee work in Berlin, our focus has been on Malawi since 2018. We are currently working on the construction of a kindergarten, a school, educational workshops especially for women who want to set up their own independent existence, a doctor's house and a canteen for school meals with teaching and distribution of varied food from our own permaculture.
