About the volunteering opportunity
Our goal is to become even better known in Germany. Therefore we would like to increase the organic traffic on our website.
Our central in the UK recently launched a blog. We would also like to publish articles for our website on our own blog.
We do not only want to translate articles, but also include a lot of our own material, for example: reports on our fundraising activities, interviews, current study results (refugees, volunteering, donation behaviour in Germany, climate change, ...), case studies of refugees, interesting facts about natural disasters, etc.
Your Tasks
We are looking for people who enjoy writing / blogging and/or support us with the translations of the English articles.
There are already some collected topic ideas, but we are also very open for own ideas.
We also have a large asset bank with photos from all our previous assignments. These photos can be used to supplement texts or to create picture galleries on specific topics.
It would be desirable if one or two articles could be created per month (about 500 words per text).
What's needed
- Desire for active volunteer work (about 5 hours per month)
- Passion for research work and creative writing
- Flair for topics
- Good feeling for languages, good knowledge of German
- Structured and reliable operation
