Support wanted in the clothing store

The inclusive company "Komm & Sieh" runs four second-hand neighborhood stores, the TEXTILHAFEN with a material pool, the upcycling label WaterToWine, the clothing store, logistics kitchen and laundry for homeless people and helps with professional apartment clearances. The proceeds from "Komm & Sieh" support the social projects of the Berlin City Mission.

With our clothing store, we provide people in need with basic clothing that everyone needs. To do this, we need help from people who are empathetic and resilient towards people and their difficult situations and who have a fundamental interest in order and structure.

Activity: You hand out clothes to homeless and needy people and help them choose suitable clothing. 

You will enjoy this voluntary position: You are open to the life situations of homeless people. You keep an overview and enjoy working in a team. You are reliable and enjoy existing structures.
it is important that you treat all guests with friendliness, appreciation and at eye level.

Requirements: You must be at least 18 years old for this voluntary position and speak German to at least A2 level. Knowledge of Eastern European languages such as Polish, Russian or Romanian is an advantage, but not a requirement.

When: Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 14:00

Time commitment: 1-2 times a week, 2 to 3 hours a day. We are looking for a regular commitment.
