About the volunteering opportunity
The station mission is a point of contact for anyone who needs help in the station area. This includes travelers in emergency situations as well as people with social or psychological difficulties. Many of our guests are not German citizens, which results in an intercultural exchange.
Your Tasks
Job: You help passengers boarding, alighting and changing trains on the platform and guide them through the station. You will advise and refer people who come to the station mission with questions. Warm hospitality and conversations with guests on our premises are also part of your duties. You will be in contact with our cooperation partners and provide information in response to inquiries.
What's needed
Requirements: You can communicate well in German. The minimum age for this volunteer position is 18 years. A simple certificate of good conduct is required for this voluntary position. There are no costs for this.
Time required
Time commitment: 1 time/week, up to 4 hours per shift
When: Mo-Sun from 08:00 - 12:00 or from 13:00 - 17:00
